Helena Maria Fernandes, Director of Macao Government Tourist Office and Vice- chairperson of CDT, hosted the first meeting of Joint Sub Task Forces in 2014 in the Tourism Activities Centre on 31st March. The aim of the meeting was to introduce the concept and details of the "Quality Tourism Services Accreditation Scheme", which is a plan to define service quality standards for the tourism industry, encourage and support the industry to enhance service culture as well as recognize tourism merchants and practitioners who provide outstanding services and implement excellent service management. This is an effort to cope with the development goal of establishing Macau as the "World Centre of Tourism and Leisure".
