Maria Helena de Senna Fernandes, Director of Macau Government Tourist Office and Vice-chairperson of CDT, hosted the second CDT Plenary Meeting in the Tourism Activities Centre on 1st December. In the meeting, Cultural Affairs Bureau consulted CDT members on the framework of the “Protection and Management Plan of the Macau Historic Centre”. Afterwards, Macau Government Tourist Office summarized the updated tourism developments and gathered opinions from the members as tourism feasibility recommendations for Macao SAR policies.

    At the meeting, the committee members expressed their comments and suggestions regarding the future development planning of tourism sectors, business environment, transportation issues and cultural affairs. Speeches were given by Chan Peng Fai, Chan Chak Mo, Kan Man Neng, Wong Ian Man, Chow Kam Fai David, Cheung Kin Chung, Lei U Weng, Chan Hio Ieong, Wong Wan, Chan Chi Kit, Ieong Weng Seng, Wu Keng Kuong and Xu Yueming.
